The Board meets four times a year and the most recent agendas and minutes are on the Healthwatch Cornwall website at CPB Agendas and Minutes. Older documents are available on request.

Carers and others interested in the work of the Board are welcome to come to the meetings as observers. Observers can aks questions of the Board through a Carers Partnership Board member or their local Carers Forums. Places are limited so please contact us to book your place well before the meeting.

The Board can be contacted through Nuala Kiely and Mike Hooper, Healthwatch Cornwall:

Carers forums are open to all informal and unpaid carers. Carers forums have been set up across Cornwall to offer information and guidance. They also allow carers to have their voices heard by those who make decisions about the services and support available to them and the people they care for.

The Carers Forums offer carers the opportunity to share and raise concerns, and feed them back through Carers Partnership Board. The forums are a way to raise awareness of issues and concerns experienced by carers and highlight the importance of the role they perform.

The forums take place quarterly in each area and have administration support to help organise and run them. This support also makes sure reports and minutes are written and actioned properly.

Each forum aims to find local solutions for issues and concerns raised by carers at each meeting. The Carers Partnership Board considers issues and concerns to find and escalate solutionsas needed.

For more information on attending Carers Forums, please visit the Kernow Carers web page.
