Domestic Cleaning Services

Commissioners have been working with service providers and stakeholders to consider the future service design and contracting arrangements with businesses that provide home care, supported living and outreach services at home and in the community.

During the discussions, it was identified that personal care providers are delivering cleaning, shopping, and meal preparation etc, many using their specialised trained staff.

It has been decided to tender these domestic tasks separately to allow more providers to be able to work with Cornwall Council.

The Commissioning Team would like to consider contract arrangements with businesses that deliver services which include but are not limited to: 

  • Cleaning
  • Deep Clean
  • Meal preparation
  • Shopping
  • Support for those with a hoarding disorder

These services are to be delivered to adults over the age of 18 years who     have been assessed by Adult Social Care to have eligible needs.  The services will be delivered in the customer’s own home.

  • Southwestern Home Care
