Emergency food grants

Emergency Food Assistance Fund is to be used to support people who are struggling to afford food and other essentials due to COVID-19.

It provides financial help to community food groups who support their communities .

  • voluntary organisation
  • or a community group - working with people to access food and essential supplies in Cornwall
  • The total fund currently available is £628,000
  • We expect to allocate this fund by 31 March 2021
  • Grants can be for any amount up to £25,000
  • You can make up to two applications per organisation
  • If, in exceptional circumstances, your project requires more than £25,000, please contact us at foodgrant@cornwall.gov.uk

You can apply for the grant to provide support for people who cannot afford nutritious food or essential supplies.

This can be due to many reasons.

You can apply for capital and revenue spend, including infrastructure costs
