Litter is a blight on our beautiful countryside and beaches, it pollutes the environment and it is a danger to Cornish wildlife. Join a movement of thousands of other people and support a #LitterlessCornwall.

We love Cornwall because of its beautiful, unspoilt landscapes. Most people want to see a #LitterlessCornwall and make sure to leave only their footprints behind.

Unfortunately, a few people choose to spoil this for the rest of us by littering. Their carelessness means litter not only ruins the beautiful local environments we all enjoy, it costs Cornwall Council millions to clean up this litter every year, money that could be spent on vital services.

We think the solution is simple. Bag and bin your rubbish and leave only your footprints.

Five easy ways to keep Cornwall clean

  1. Choose not to litter. Join thousands of other people to keep Cornwall beautiful by signing the pledge now.
  2. Reduce, reuse and recycle at work, schools and in the home.
  3. Set a good example. Help spread the word and share the campaign on social media.
  4. Bag and bin your rubbish, or take it with you.
  5. Join a community litter clean up with Clean Cornwall or do a #2MinuteBeachClean. Find out more about Cornwall Council's support of the #2MinuteBeachClean
