Strategic Historic Environment Service
The role of the Strategic Historic Environment Service is to identify, record, enhance, conserve, present and interpret the historic environment of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The Strategic Historic Environment Service provide the following services:
- Manage and run the Cornwall and Scilly Historic Environment Record;
- Provide a countryside advice service to landowners and others on the management of the rural historic environment through agri-environment schemes;
- Giving advice to all and producing guidance and surveys on the significance of the historic environment and how it might best be managed and conserved;
- Developing and delivering Heritage Led Regeneration schemes
