Tywardreath and Par Neighbourhood Development Plan

The Tywardreath and Par Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan cannot proceed to Referendum until 6 May 2021 as set out by Central Government due to the Covid 19 crisis.

Planning guidance has been updated to set out that neighbourhood plans awaiting referendum can be given significant weight in decision-making. The implementation date for Tywardreath and Par Parish NDP is 14 January 2021.

Tywardreath and Par Parish Council have submitted their Neighbourhood Plan to Cornwall Council. It was submitted on 8 July 2020.  This was for their designated Neighbourhood Development Plan Area. Under the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

The consultation ran for a ten week period between 6 August - 15 October 2020. The independent examiner apointed was Liz Beth.

Tywardreath and Par Parish Council submitted an application and map to designation their Neighbourhood Area. This was submitted on 17 April 2015. Cornwall Council consulted residents and other interested stakeholders on the designatioThe consultation ran between 29 April and 10 June 2015.
