The St Clement Neighbourhood Development Plan has been successful at examination. The neighbourhood plan went to examination in October 2019. The independent examiner appointed was Deborah McCann. The final examination report was received on 7 January 2020.

The St Clement Neighbourhood Development Plan was formally submitted to Cornwall Council on 19th July 2019. Cornwall Council consulted residents and other interested stakeholders on the plan between Thursday 29th August and 10th October 2019 for six weeks. You can view the representations received through the online planning register using Neighbourhood Planning number PA19/00021/NDP, or send us your response in writing to the address below.

The plan proposal includes a copy of a map and statement which identifies the area to which the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan relates; a consultation statement; the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan, an Evidence base summary document, a statement explaining how the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan meets the requirements of paragraph 8 of Schedule 4B to the 1990 Act (the Basic Conditions Statement) and a local landscape character assessment.

Hard copies of the documents were available to view at the following locations during the consultation:

  • Malpas Villlage Hall, Malpas, Truro, TR1 1SQ
  • Tresillian Village Hall, Fairfax Road, Tresillian, TR2 4AZ

St Clement Parish Council submitted an application and map to designation their Neighbourhood Area. This was submitted on 2 October 2015. Cornwall Council consulted residents and other interested stakeholders on the designation. The consultation ran between 15 October and 26 November 2015. Copies of the application letter and statement were made available to view during the six week consultation period. The statemet explains how the Parish Council and Neighbourhood Area met the conditions of Section 61G(2) of the Town And Country Planning Act 1990.
