South Hill Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan

South Hill Parish Neighbourhood Development plan is now formally made. It can be used from 22nd February 2018, as part of the development plan in development management decisions in the South Hill Neighbourhood Plan Area. The adopted neighbourhood plan and associted documents are available to download below:

The South Hill Neighbourhood Development Plan Referendum was held on 25th January 2018. The plan was successful at referendum and the result was:

  • Number cast in favour of a 'Yes': 167
  • Number cast in favour of a 'No': 15

South Hill Parish Council submitted an application and map to designation their Neighbourhood Area. This was submitted on 3 December 2013. Cornwall Council consulted residents and other interested stakeholders on the designation. This consultation was from 13th December 2013 to 24th January 2014. Copies of the application letter and a statement were made available to view during the six week consultation period. The statement explains how the Parish Council and Neighbourhood Area met the conditions of Section 61G(2) of the Town And Country Planning Act 1990.
