The Lezant Neighbourhood Development Plan was formally submitted to Cornwall Council on 8 July 2019. Cornwall Council is consulting residents and other interested stakeholders on the plan for the Lezant Parish area. Consultation will run between Thursday 15 August and 26 September 2019 for a six week period. The plan proposal includes:

Lezant Parish Council submitted an application and map to designation their Neighbourhood Area on 7 October 2015. Cornwall Council consulted residents and other interested stakeholders on the designation. The consultation ran from 15 October to 26 November 2015. Copies of the application letter and statement were made available to view during the six week consultation period. The statement explains how the Parish Council and Neighbourhood Area met the conditions of Section 61G(2) of the Town And Country Planning Act 1990. Documents were available from:
