Lanreath Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan is now formally made and can be used from 28th February 2018, as part of the development plan in development management decisions in the Lanreath Neighbourhood Plan Area. The adopted neighbourhood plan, report and decision notice are available to download below:

Lanreath Neighbourhood Development Plan Referendum was held on 25th January 2018. The plan was successful at referendum and the result was:

  • Number cast in favour of 'Yes': 105
  • Number cast in favour of 'No': 18

The Lanreath Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan was submitted for examination on 18 August 2017. The independent examiner appointed to carry out the examination is Liz Beth.

On 22nd September 2017, Cornwall Council received the Examiner's report on the Lanreath Neighbourhood Development Plan. The examiner’s report concludes that subject to the modifications in the report, the Plan should proceed to referendum. The examination report and amended Neighbourhood Plan is available to download below:

Lanreth Parish Council submitted their plan proposal to Cornwall Council for their designated Neighbourhood Development Plan Area, in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (amended).

Cornwall Council consulted residents and other interested stakeholders on the plan proposal for the Lanreth area. The consultation ran from 26 May to 7 July 2017. Copies of the documents were available to view using the online planning register, (planning number PA17/00011/NDP) and hard copies were available to view at Looe Library and One Stop Shop, Liskeard One Stop Shop, Lanreth Shop and Post Office.

The plan proposal includes a copy of a map and statement which identifies the area to which the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan relates; a consultation statement; the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan, a statement explaining how the proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan meets the requirements of paragraph 8 of Schedule 4B to the 1990 Act (the Basic Conditions Statement), a Consultation Statement, an Equality Impact Assessment and an Evidence Base Report.

Lanreath Parish Council submitted an application and map to designation their Neighbourhood Area on 18 February 2015. Cornwall Council consulted residents and other interested stakeholders on the designation from 27 February to 10 April 2015. Copies of the application letter and statement that explains how the Parish Council and Neighbourhood Area met the conditions of Section 61G(2) of the Town And Country Planning Act 1990, were made available to view from Looe Library and One Stop Shop during the six week consultation period.
