The Cornwall Council (Footpaths No. 24 (Part) and No. 29 (Part) Dobwalls and Trewidland) Public Path Diversion Order 2018

On 24 January 2019 certification was given by Cornwall Council that the terms of Article 1 of the Order requiring works to be carried out to bring the site of the new highway described in Part 2 of the Schedule to the Order into a fit condition for use by the public had been complied with, thereby enabling the Order to come into force.

A redacted copy of the Certified Order and the Order Map can be found at the Public Path Order Register page of the Council's website. A copy of the Certified Order and Order Map have also been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Cornwall Council at Liskeard Information Centre, Luxtowe House, Greenbank Road, Liskeard, Cornwall. PL11 3DZ between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday (excepting Bank and Public Holidays).

Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257

The Cornwall Council (Footpath No. 1, Carlyon (Part) and an Unrecorded Public Footpath) (Overflow Car Park at Beach Road, Carlyon Bay) Stopping Up and Diversion Order 2015

On 04 December 2018 certification was given by Cornwall Council that the terms of Article 2 of the Order requiring an alternative highway to be provided to the satisfaction of the authority as described in Part 2 of the Schedule to the Order had been complied with, thereby enabling the Order to come into force.

A redacted copy of the Certified Order and the Order Map can be found at the Public Path Order Register page of the Council's website. A copy of the Certified Order and Order Map have also been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Cornwall Council at the St Austell One Stop Shop, 39 Penwinnick Road, St Austell, PL25 5DR between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday (excepting Bank and Public Holidays) and at the Truro One Stop Shop, Pydar House, Pydar Street, Truro, TR1 1XU between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday (excepting Bank and Public Holidays). Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of £5.00.

Definitive Map Modification Order Application Register

On 30 April 2019 Cornwall Council received a Modification Order application for the addition of a bridleway and for the upgrade of a footpath to bridleway to the Definitive Map (WCA 654) near Carn Euny Farm, Sancreed CP and this application has been added to the Register.

On 30 April 2019 Cornwall Council received a Modification Order application for the addition of a restricted byway to the Definitive Map (WCA 656) at Venland Cottage, St Cleer and this application has been added to the Register.

On 29 April 2019 Cornwall Council received a Modification Order application for the addition of a restricted byway to the Definitive Map (WCA 655) at Roseland Cottage, Menheniot and this application has been added to the Register.

On 29 April 2019 Cornwall Council received a Modification Order application for the addition of a footpath to the Definitive Map (WCA 653) at Stanley Maggs Way, Liskeard and this application has been added to the Register.

On 26 April 2019 Cornwall Council received a Modification Order application for the addition of a restricted byway to the Definitive Map (WCA 652) at Bastard Mill, St Gennys CP and this application has been added to the Register.

On 14 February 2019 Cornwall Council received a Modification Order application for the addition of footpaths and a restricted byway to the Definitive Map (WCA 651) at Trevegean Farm, St Just CP and this application has been added to the Register.

On 17 January 2019 Cornwall Council received a Modification Order application for the addition of a restricted byway to the Definitive Map (WCA 650) at Looe Down Farm, Liskeard CP and this applicatin has been added to the Register.

On 14 January 2019 Cornwall Council received a Modification Order application for the addition of a restricted byway to the Definitive Map (WCA 649) at Looe Mills Farm, Liskeard CP and this application has been added to the Register.

On 7 December 2018 Cornwall Council received a Modification Order application for the addition of a bridleway to the Definitive Map (WCA 648) near Whitstone, Week St Mary CP and Whitstone CP and this application has been added to the Register.

On 16 November 2018 Cornwall Council received a Modification Order application for the addition of a footpath to the Definitive Map (WCA 647) at Penknight, Lostwithiel CP and this application has been added to the Register.

From 17 January 2018 we have decided to adopt and implement the notation as defined in Schedule 1 of Regulation 3 of 'The Wildlife and Countryside (Definitive Maps and Statements) Regulations 1993' and added to by 'Advice Note No 22' from the Rights of Way Section of The Planning Inspectorate (with regard to the notation for restricted byway), such that:

  • Footpaths – magenta, (purple) solid line
  • Bridleways – green, solid line
  • Byways – brown, solid line
  • Restricted Byways – green, broken line
