In order to complete our flood investigation reports and enable us to effectively prioritise our action plans, we need to understand what areas have been affected by flooding.

You can report a flood incident to us using the online form below or download and complete a Flood Incident Record and return to us.

Your flood incident report will give us a better understanding of the residential and commercial properties which have experienced internal flooding and why.

Do not use this form to report an emergency situation or to alert us to current flooding requiring an immediate response - please follow the Flood advice in emergency situations

If the answer to either question below is Yes then this Incident Report will form part of a Section 19 Flood Investigation Report and will need to be published.

The personal information you provide on this form will be held by Cornwall Council but may be shared with the Environment Agency and used for the sole purposes of assessing flood risk or for following up flood related issues. Your information will not be used for any other purpose by Cornwall Council and will not be passed onto any other third party without your permission. It may be used to plan future flood risk management activities and to inform the public about whether there is a flood risk issue in a general area, but individual names and addresses will not be disclosed. All personal information held by Cornwall Council is held safely in a secure environment and will be deleted once any investigations are concluded.
