This report focuses upon the first section of the People's Panel survey sent out in October 2005. The survey was the eleventh to use the People's Panel and included questions on the following issues:

  • Public Rights of Way in Cornwall
  • Waste Development Framework in Cornwall
  • Information about yourself
  • Your experience of migration and moving house
  • Publications produced by the Council

This report lays out the key findings from the twenty seven questions concerning Public Rights of Way in Cornwall. Cornwall County Council was interested in finding out the views and opinions of the People's Panel in order to support the policy process in Cornwall.

Focus Groups Reports

Three separate focus groups were held in January 2006.  These comprised a Land Users Group, a Land Managers Group and a Disabled Users Group. Facilitated by an independent consultant, the aim of the focus groups was to discuss and debate the issues surrounding the Cornwall Countryside Access Strategy. This report provides details of the findings from each group and a combined brief summary that amalgamates all three sets of findings, highlighting key issues and recurrent themes.
