In September and 0ctober 2019 we hosted  two post-16 SEN events for SENCOs, support staff, young people and families to learn more about the options available as a young person with an EHC plan moves towards post-16 education.

Approximately 120 people attended these two events and 19 different post 16 providers were represented at the event . The overall feedback – from both the providers and families - was positive. We will be aiming to arrange at least three events next year to reach a wider catchment area.

The resources that were handed out at the events will be developed further over coming months. The information will be available on the SEND Local Offer and Cornwall Council webpages

Details about the post 16 drop in events taking place in 2020 will be added to this page and advertised on the SEND Local Offer. Information will also be sent to parents and schools once details are finalised.
