BAME Inclusion conference

Cornwall Council's Education Service is holding its first black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) Inclusion Conference.

This interactive conference is aimed at primary and secondary schools as well as Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) settings. It features a parents’ panel where parents of BAME children discuss the challenges and opportunities they have encountered in schools in Cornwall. Speakers include Springwatch’s Gillian Burke and Justin Olosunde, a senior leader in further Education from the BAME Community.

Due to the current Coronavirus / COVID-19 situation, we are postponing the BAME Inclusion conference scheduled for 22 April 2020.

We will reschedule the event as soon as we are able and bookings already made will be transferred to this new date once it is appropriate to do so.
