Adult and Community Education

Cornwall Adult Education Service is a community based organisation which currently makes use of over 70 venues across the county to reflect its commitment to make learning as accessible as possible. The service seeks to provide a learning programme which enables all adults in the county to develop their skills, knowledge, judgement, interests and creativity, whatever their particular needs.

A Board of Governors is responsible for the overall conduct and oversight of the Adult Education Service. For more information please see the Board of Governors page.

Learners make good progress as a result of careful and thoughtful planning and delivery of teaching and learning by tutors. Tutors prepare well, engage learners sensitively, and use teaching and learning resources effectively’.
