Do you enjoy a stroll along the seafront or a paddle in the pool? Maybe you’d rather be riding your bike or playing football with your friends.
Whether you exercise every day or you’re looking for new ways to get active, we want to hear from you.
Residents of all ages and fitness levels are being urged to complete a survey looking at how people in Cornwall like to stay active and what they think about sport and leisure provision across the Duchy.
You can complete the survey online here.
Cornwall Council is currently developing a new physical activity strategy.
The Council also wants to understand how our residents are using leisure centres as a result of the pandemic and how to ensure provision is meeting community needs and achieving best value for money. You can help us do this by completing the survey.
Councillor Richard Pears, portfolio holder for Customers at Cornwall Council: “We want to know to how people enjoy staying active in Cornwall. Many people like to use our existing leisure facilities while others might prefer other activities such as walking, gardening, playing football or dancing. They may also want to try new sports and activities which aren’t available in their area.
“This survey will help us understand what activities people currently enjoy and what they would like to do in the future. The results will help us shape our services so that everyone in Cornwall can be more active, more often.”
The survey will close on August 2.
