Customer and Support Services Directorate

The Customer and Support Services directorate is headed by Cath Robinson, Chief Operating Officer and Section 151 Officer, and includes:

  • Commercial services - including procurement and supply management, embedding a commercial approach, property and assets, major projects, programme and project management and managing public finance initiatives
  • Resources service - financial systems, income and control, human resources, organisational development, strategic finance, pensions, insurance and treasury management
  • Assurance service - including democratic and electoral services, coroners, internal audit, risk, governance and legal services
  • Strategy and engagement services - including strategy, performance, engagement and communications, and Cabinet and Civic office
  • Customer access and digital services - including customer services, smarter working and information technology and revenues and assessment
