In addition, being online opens up other opportunities, including taking advantage of online discounts (including fuel tariffs and online shopping), shopping from the comfort of your own home and being able to keep in touch with family and friends at the touch of a button through Facebook, Twitter and Skype!

You can use computers free of charge in all libraries, where there is also wi-fi access. 

Here’s just a few things you can do online on the Council website:

  1. Make a payment (council tax, business rates, garden waste, bulky waste)  
  2. Report a problem (abandoned vehicle, dog fouling)
  3. Renew a library book or borrow an online magazines
  4. Comment on a planning application
  5. Use web chat to talk to us
  6. Access your benefits account information  
  7. Find your rubbish collection day.
