Join us to mark the closing of the Cornish Studies Library (in preparation for the move to Kresen Kernow) with a creative workshop inspired by books and messages. Led by artist Sue Lewington and writer Steph Haxton, explore more unusual book-forms to take messages from the present to the future via the past. The workshop costs £10 and takes place on Thursday August 30 at the Cornish Studies Library from 10am-4pm. Pre-booking and payment are essential, please call 01209 216 760 for bookings and more information.

The Cornish Studies Library will mark its final day in operation on Saturday September 8 with free family crafts from 10am-2pm. Drop in to leave us a message for the future, and take away a small book for your own memories.

The next free hard hat tours of the Kresen Kernow site in Redruth will take place on Friday September 14th and Saturday 15 September at 10am, 11, 1pm and 2pm. Pre-booking is essential, please call 01872 323 127 for bookings or more information. Kresen Kernow will be Cornwall's new archive centre, home to 850 years of written records, when it opens in 2019.
