The Archives and Cornish Studies Service offers a wide variety of learning experiences. From school visits to family learning events, we have something to inspire everyone. Please note: we are currently preparing to close Cornwall Record Office and the Cornish Studies Library in order to prepare for our move to Kresen Kernow. We will still offer our school outreach programme and public events will be advertised on our What's On page.

We offer:

Our staff members are able to deliver presentations on matters relating to general archival and library practice, as well as on aspects of Cornwall’s history and our collections, and updates on the Kresen Kernow project.

We also offer school outreach visits and borrowable loans resources. Once Kresen Kernow opens in 2019 we will also offer visits to our archives and behind-the-scenes tours.

We offer a range of events and activities throughout the year, including creative drop-in activities, exhibitions, family learning sessions, taught classes, creative workshops, and much more. We encourage involvement from toddlers and grandparents alike! To see what exciting events are coming up you can find us on social media by searching @kresenkernow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can also visit our What's On? page to see any forthcoming events.
