The majority of our enquiries relate to family and property history but everyone is welcome to visit the Record Office and use our services.

A team of archivists, archive assistants, learning officers and admin staff catalogue and preserve our documents in order to make them available for researchers to use. We have many thousands of visits and enquiries each year, and also engage hundreds more people through our learning programme.
