  • finding up to date accurate news or health information
  • being able to buy essential items online

We have put together a series of guides with links to trusted websites and trusted places to learn. We hope that these resources will be useful and help you to improve and learn new digital skills.

Whether you're starting a new project or looking for ways to get your life organised, good planning can make all the difference.  There are a number of resources, some with video content on the 'Make It Click' website. These will help you learn how to plan using the latest apps and tools.

GCF Learn Free

For more than a decade, the GCFLearnFree.org program has helped millions around the world. They have learnt the essential skills they need to live and work in the 21st century. From Microsoft Office and email to reading, math, and more. GCFLearnFree.org offers more than 180 topics. This includes more than 2,000 lessons, 800+ videos, and 55+ interactives and games, completely free

Open Learn

You can choose an OpenLearn course from a wide range of subjects. Some are based on Open University course materials. Others are written specifically for OpenLearn.
