We cover a variety of topics in our beginners computer basics course which runs for 2 hours once a week for 4 weeks;

  • Introduced to using a computer and online searching
  • Creating email accounts and how to stay safe online
  • Shopping safely online and form filling
  • Price comparison websites and Council services online

We work closely with volunteers and partner agencies to enable the public to access and be confident in using IT to engage with online services. Working together with our partner agencies we intend to reduce social isolation by facilitating training in basic computer skills and providing an understanding of safe internet use, benefits to being online and internet security.

We also provide informal drop in sessions for computer help on a weekly basis, details of these can be found on our Facebook page or by contacting us directly using our contact details on this page.
