Children aged 3-5 years old in Cornwall are introduced to fire and road safety through the early learning fire safety (elfs) resource, which is loaned out free of charge to educational practitioners for this age group. It is available from 31 of our community fire stations. Full details about the elfs resource can be found from the link above.

Education for children aged 5-11

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service has Community Fire and Road Safety Officers  that visit children in school during Key Stage 1 (age 5-7) and Key Stage 2 (age 7-11) to educate them about fire safety.  An activity book is given to each child to complete and take home to share with their families.  We have provided the activity book answers and additional work sheets should you like to help your child complete the work books.

This area has been set up so you too can have some fun, whilst being aware of our educational activities we have for children.
