July 2017

Open Day at Newquay Community Fire Station
29 July 2017 - 11am to 3pm

Come and meet your local firefighters at Newquay Community Fire Station and check out the Fire Engines, meet the crew, jump on the Bouncy Castle, enjoy a burger and try your luck on the raffle all in aid of Charity! Free entrance from 11 am, see you there!
Charity tent and camping equipment sale

29 July 2017

A team of firefighters travelled up to the Glastonbury festival site on Tuesday 27th June to rescue as many tents and bits of camping equipment as possible before it gets scooped up for land fill.

All of the equipment was brought back to Cornwall and given a good clean.  It will now be taken down to Hayle Rugby Club on Saturday the 29 July and sold at bargain prices in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity

August 2017

Summer Fete and Dog Show at Delabole Community Fire Station
2 August 2017 - 6pm

Delabole Community Fire Station are hosting a Summer Fete and Fun Dog Show. Also on the day there will be a carboot sale, BBQ, cream teas, raffles and games. To book a pitch call 01840 211480. Proceeds in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity.

Open Day at Wadebridge Community Fire Station
5 August 2017 - times to be confirmed

Come along to the Wadebridge Community Fire Station open day on Saturday 5 August, where you will have the chance to meet the crew, tour the station and appliances and watch a demo!
Carnival and Open Day at Looe Community Fire Station
5 August 2017 - 10am - 7pm

Come along to the Looe Carnival on 5 August and meet the firefighters at Looe Community Fire Station who will be holding their open day, where you will have the chance to meet the crew, tour the station and appliances, have something to eat and take part in their raffle!
Open Day at Penzance Community Fire Station
19 August 2017 - 10am to 2pm
Come along to the Penzance Community Fire Station open day on Sat 19 August, where you will have the chance to meet the crew, tour the station and appliances and watch a demo or two!
Charity 6-a-side Cricket match
20 August 2017 - 12pm

Wadebridge Community Fire Station are holding a charity 6 a-side cricket match on Sunday 20 August. Lots of cricket, food and fun for the whole family! £18 per team, includes BBQ, kids play area and bar. All proceeds to The Fire Fighters Charity. For further details call Tim on: 07850 039 643. 
Open day at Mullion Community Fire Station
24 August 2017 - 6pm
Firefighters from Mullion Community Fire Station are hosting an open day at the station on 24 August 2017 from 6pm. There will be a fun for all the family including a BBQ, raffle and stalls and the crew will demonstrate what it's like to cut up a car using specialist equipment.
Open day at Falmouth Community Fire Station
24 August 2017 - 10am - 1pm
Firefighters from Falmouth Community Fire Station are hosting an open day at the station on 24 August 2017 from 10am. Come and meet your local firefighters, have a tour of the station and the see the equipment and all the vehicles we use. Everyone is welcome to have a look around and sit in the fire engine. To keep the kids entertained while the adults have a cuppa, we have mini firefighter outfits that the children can dress up in and have their photo taken with the crew. For anyone wanting to find out more about joing the Falmouth team as an on-call firefighter we would be delighted to see you and discuss the role with you and how you can apply.
