February

1 February - 8pm ~ 10pm - Cornwall Fire Takeover Radio Show

Earlier this year Firefighters from Truro Community Fire Station hosted their own radio show "The Truro Fire Takeover'.

We are delighted to announce that Andrew, John and Jimbo are returning this time representing the whole county. The show will broadcast across 3 radio stations, allowing us to cover more of the county!

We hope you can tune in to the fourth show of this series!

2 February - 9am ~ 12pm Wadebridge Charity Coffee Morning

On Saturday 2nd February 2019 between 9am - 12pm Wadebridge Community Fire Station are having a coffee morning in aid of World Cancer Day, raising money for Cancer Research UK Cornwall.
Everyone is welcome to come in for coffee and a chat and crews will also be available to give fire safety advice.

7 February - Bodmin Half Marathon

Now part of the Cornwall Multi-Terrain Race Series, the Bodmin Half Marathon is an annual charity event which takes runners from Bodmin College into the grounds of the National Trust’s Lanhydrock Estate for two hilly laps offering stunning views. This year’s chosen charity is the Fire Fighters Charity.

13 February - Princes Trust Taster Day

Are you 16 - 25 and want to do something different? When you join our programme you are given the chance to change your life in just 12 weeks!

Join us at Truro Community Fire Station on Wednesday 13th February for our next team taster day!

Come along from 10 am to find out more about our Prince's Trust programme and how to apply for Team 16 starting on the 18th February. Food and drinks will be available at this event.

26 April - Annual Charity Rugby Match - RNLI v Fire Service, 6.30pm - 11pm

This years charity rugby match played between the RNLI and Fire Service will be a Friday night fixture under the floodlights at the Mennaye in Penzance - 18.30 kick off. Please spread the word to players and supporters; we want to build on the great success of the previous years.
