December

17 December - 7.30pm - Truro Carol Concert

Cornwall Fire, Rescue and Community Safety Service and Devon and Cornwall Police will be holding a Carol Service at Truro Cathedral. Please join us for an evening of Christmas carols followed by light refreshments. Donations welcome.

31 December - Give Blood at Tolvaddon Community Fire Station

Interested in giving Blood? There will be an opportunity to do so on New Year's Eve (31 December), 9.30am - 3.30pm at Tolvaddon Community Fire Station.

If you'd like to book an appointment, you can do so by ringing the national call centre on 0300 123 23 23 or visit www.blood.co.uk and enter Tolvaddon Fire Station's Postcode TR14 0EQ.

Unfortunately on-duty operational staff are unable to donate for health and safety reasons, however all off-duty staff and non-operational support staff may donate.

4 January - 8pm ~ 10pm - Cornwall Fire Takeover Radio Show

Earlier this year Firefighters from Truro Community Fire Station hosted their own radio show "The Truro Fire Takeover'.

We are delighted to announce that Andrew, John and Jimbo are returning this time representing the whole county. The show will broadcast across 3 radio stations, allowing us to cover more of the county!

We hope you can tune in to the third show of this series!

7 February - Bodmin Half Marathon

Now part of the Cornwall Multi-Terrain Race Series, the Bodmin Half Marathon is an annual charity event which takes runners from Bodmin College into the grounds of the National Trust’s Lanhydrock Estate for two hilly laps offering stunning views. This year’s chosen charity is the Fire Fighters Charity.
