Friday 16 August 

  • Trident Challenge 

The Trident Challenge running on the 16 August at Gyllyngvase Beach is an approximately 1000m open water swim.

  • Age and Gender categories over 16
  • 150 places
  • £10 entry

Register on the day from 16.00.
All proceeds to The Fire Fighters Charity and Cancer Research UK

Saturday 17 August

  • 50th anniversary Open Day - Bodmin Community Fire Station

Firefighters from Bodmin Community Fire Station are making plans for their open day this year, which will be held on Saturday 17 August.   • Open Day - Mullion Community Fire Station

Firefighters from Mullion Community Fire Station are making plans for their open day this year, which will be held on Thursday 22 August from 6pm. Sunday 25 August

  • Open Day - Liskeard Community Fire Station

On Sunday 25 August we are hosting a station open day! Come along to the station from 10 am to get involved with a range of activities and meet the crew at Liskeard Community Fire Station. Some of the things you can find on the day include;

  • A barbeque
  • Raffle
  • Cake Stall
  • Face painting
  • Penalty shootout and other fun games
  • RNLI and Coastguard and much more!

Firefighters from Newquay Community Fire Station are making plans for their open day this year, which will be held on Sunday 25 August. September

Sunday 1 September 2019 

  • 25th Anniversary Rugby match 

On Sunday 1 September there will be a rugby match and unveiling of a Fire Brigades Union Red Plaque in memory of Leading Firefighter Michael “Sonny” Liston to mark the 25th Anniversary of his passing on 3rd September 1994. The match will be between Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service and Liskeard Looe Rugby Club. The game will kick-off 1 pm at the Lux Park, Coldstyle Road, Liskeard, Cornwall, PL14 3HZ.
