October 2016

The Fire Prevention and Road Safety Team will be at the A30 Cornwall Services from 10am onwards on Tuesday 25 October.

On the day there will be qualified members of staff checking child car seats for free and as part of tyre safety month, they will be encouraging and demonstrating tyre checks using a tyre buddy, which they will be giving away for free, including ice scrapers too.

If you want some help to make sure your car is ready for winter for all the family, pop along and meet the team.

November 2016

Falmouth Firework Display - 5 November 2016
This year firefighters at Falmouth Community Fire Station will set off £7500 worth of fireworks to music and are inviting any local groups or charities who would like a share of the profits from the night to get in touch.

We are really keen for members of the public to attend organised events, as fireworks can be very dangerous and no matter how careful you are, accidents can still happen. By coming along to an organised display you get to see great fireworks and everyone has a great time in a safe, controlled environment.

The firework display will take place at Falmouth Cricket Club. Gates will open at 6pm, with the fireworks being set off an hour later.

The entry fee is £4 for adults and £2 for children (aged 12 and under), who must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
