Contact a Fire Safety Officer
If you feel there is an immediate risk to life by fire, due to fire safety concerns in a business premises, please call 0800 3581 999 (24hrs).
Where we receive an allegation of fire risk that appears to pose immediate risk to life we aim to have an officer attend the premises within 3 hours regardless of the time of day or night.
For fire safety concerns, we will investigate and will deal proportionately with breaches of the law as set out in our Enforcement Policy, including taking enforcement action when necessary.
If you wish to report a fire safety concern in a business’s premises (non-urgent) or if you have a general enquiry please complete the form below or call 0800 3581 999.
We will acknowledge your enquiry or concern within 3 working days, and aim to respond to less complex requests within 7 working days, and more complex requests within 20 working days. If we can’t respond within 20 working days, we’ll tell you why and keep you informed of our progress.
All fire safety concerns are treated with confidence although non-personal information may be released under the Freedom of Information Act.
Data Protection: The information you provide on this form will be held by Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service. Your information will not be used for any other purpose by Cornwall Council, and will not be passed onto any other third party without your permission. In accordance with Cornwall Council's Record Retention Policy, the information you provide on this form will be retained for its purpose, after which period it will be destroyed in a secure manner.
