Mevagissey Community Fire Station is an on-call fire station.

Find out how often Mevagissey on-call firefighters are called out to assist the Fire and Rescue Service:

The crew at Mevagissey visit schools and play groups to give fire safety talks to children. They also visit houses in the community and offer free home fire safety checks, where free smoke alarms are fitted.

Mevagissey Community Fire Station have a unique resource called early learning fire safety (elfs), which is available to borrow free of charge by all early years establishments (including: nurseries, pre-schools, child minder's). You can find out more information by visiting our page on elfs and how to borrow the resource from a community fire station in Cornwall.

The station cover the area of Mevagissey, Gorran, Gorran Haven, St. Ewe, Pentewan, Portholland and towards Tregoney.

The main areas at risk within the station areas are holiday parks and farms.
