The Emergency Services Community Station is the first in Cornwall to co-locate fire and rescue, police and ambulance to improve partnership working and integration between these services in a shared facility. The station was also the first in the UK to pilot a new Tri-Service Officer role, which has some police powers as well as being a co-responder for the ambulance service, an anti-social case worker and being an on-call firefighter.
