'elfs' stands for early learning fire safety. It is an exciting, fun-filled box that provides teachers with tools to educate children with key skills in safety.  The resource includes:

The resource helps promote a healthy and positive awareness of the fire and rescue service and the role of the firefighter. It also encompasses key learning areas within the Early Years Foundation Stages' (EYFS).

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) has developed elfs specifically for children aged between two and five years old. The resource is built around seven characters. Each character focuses on a specific Safety Message
