This document sets out Cornwall Council’s position regarding development proposals close to the shoreline. It defines the proximity to the coast where
a development needs to take account of potential coastal erosion and coastal change issues. It provides guidance on Coastal Vulnerability Assessments that may be required to accompany planning applications.
