Local Restrictions Support Grant scheme

Who is eligible?

You can get funding if;

  • If you are a business who is business rated, (even if you don’t have to pay business rates)
  • If your main business has face to face dealings with other people 

    For example, this could include non-essential retail, leisure, personal care, sports facilities and hospitality businesses. It could also include businesses that operate primarily as an in-person venue, but which have been forced to close those services and provide a takeaway-only service instead.

  • If you been forced to close due to the national lockdown

Who is not eligible?

You cannot get funding if;

  • you can continue to operate during the period of restrictions because you do not depend on providing direct in-person services from your premises (for example accountants)
  • you have chosen to close, but have not been required to close as part of national restrictions
  • you have exceeded the permitted state aid limit

The amount of your grant will depend on the rateable value of your property, see below.  

Rateable value of premisesGrant payment per 2 weeks
£15,000 or under   £667
£15,001 to £50,999   £1,000
£51,000 or over £1,500
