We will re-open the application process as soon as possible

We will email all businesses that applied for the first round of funding. This will let you know if you have been successful or unsuccessful in receiving a grant payment.

We are using all our available resources to process these applications and make payments.

Please help us by only contacting if needed once you have received this notification.

Those who were eligible for a grant of up to £3,000 included those businesses that hadn’t previously received any financial support and met the following criteria:

  • Businesses that have been severely impacted by the latest restrictions
  • The business provides a main income to that owner
  • Businesses with fixed ongoing costs – this could be rent or mortgage payments, loans or lease agreements for capital equipment, rental of workspaces (such as at salons), harbour fees. It is not to support wage or labour costs
  • Business owners who are resident in Cornwall
  • We will also consider applications from businesses with a rateable value of more than £51,000 which have received a payment through the Local Restrictions Support Grant scheme, but not previously received any other Government coronavirus grant support.
