Penmount Crematorium is a publicly owned, self financed facility administered by Cornwall Council. It is ideally situated two miles from the city centre of Truro on a secluded country estate of twenty-eight acres, eleven of which having been developed as Gardens of Remembrance.
Please note, cremation bookings/funeral services are continuing as normal at Penmount crematorium. We are asking that numbers be restricted and social distancing respected.
The normal provision of webcasting services and/or recording services for later viewing is available.
The crematorium office is closed to the Public in line with other Council offices. As from Monday 6 April, we have acted upon UK Government instructions and the Penmount memorial gardens are closed to all visitors except those attending either cremations or burials at our wildflower meadow site within the Penmount grounds. The Flower Room and Book of Remembrance Room are also closed.
Please keep an eye on our Facebook pages and webpage for any further developments.
Please stay safe
