During the summer of 2016 we carried out a town parking review in those towns and asked people for their opinions on parking issues they experience - either as a resident, business owner/manager or worker/visitor/shopper. Based on what people told us, we developed a series of proposals for parking solutions in each of the towns for new Residents' Parking Zones, new on-street Pay and Display parking, and some changes to yellow lines.

We consulted on our proposals and received over 6,000 responses for the Resident's Parking Zones survey and over 1,600 responses for the on-street Pay and Display parking survey.
