Penryn Library will be closed for four weeks from Monday 15 May, reopening on Monday 12 June.

During this period the Mobile Library Service will visit Penryn at Saracen House car park, behind the current One Stop Shop building, on the following dates:

  • Monday 15 May from 12 2pm
  • Monday 22 May from 12 noon to 2pm
  • Tuesday 30 May from 3pm
  • Monday 5 June, from 12 noon to 2pm

Library users will need to bring their library card with them to borrow any items.

In case you are not able to visit the mobile library during the closure you will be able to borrow up to 36 items from Penryn Library from Monday 24 April until it reopens. Books borrowed during this time will also have an extended loan period. You can also reserve items for free and collect them at other libraries, including Falmouth, using the online reservation system, or download eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines to use on tablets, smartphones and computers.

  • Penryn book groups meets on the first Monday and another on the third Monday of the month in the library

  • Bounce & Rhymetime sessions for ages 0-4 years and their parents/carers every Monday during term time, 10am – 10.30am. Free
