  • Wheelchair access (to the main entrance which has automatic doors)
  • The library has its own large car park with over 20 spaces. There are no designated disabled spaces but because of the layout they are not really necessary.
  • Lift to the first floor meeting rooms. 
  • Accessible toilets

Cash, cheque and card payments are taken during normal opening hours.

  • Meeting room for hire - meeting room seats 26 people and has a flip chart and telephone (during library hours). There is also a fully equipped kitchen. Cost is £20 per session, morning or afternoon. Contact the library to enquire about availability.
  • Applications for a National Concessions Bus Pass can be processed in the library.
  • Council payments taken - Cash, cheque and card payments taken during normal opening hours
  • Europe Direct information on living, working or studying in other European Union countries
  • Home Library Services - the RVS deliver books to anyone who finds it difficult to get to the library for any reason, whether on a temporary or long-term basis. We can choose books for you and they will be delivered once a month when the previously loaned books will be collected.
  • We have a small amount of stock of recycling sacks and boxes available from this One Stop Shop but cannot guarantee availability but we can order on your behalf or you can order direct using our request recycling equipment / recycling containment online form.
  • Seagull proof bags available at a cost of £3.50. Each bag will hold three black rubbish sacks.

  • Baby signing every Thursday 10-10.45am for 0 to 2 years old 
  • Computer classes for beginners
  • Proper Job help for job seekers
  • The Fowey History Group meet on the third Friday of the month 2pm-4pm. They also deal with any family history questions and can be contacted care of Fowey Library.
  • Crafties meet on the last Tuesday of every month
  • Fowey Readers’ Group meets on the last Friday of each month from 10.30am-11.30am. We have various reading groups throughout Cornwall
  • Lego Club on Tuesdays 3.30-4.30 (term time only)
