Falmouth Library and Information Service (previously known as One Stop Shop) is the first Library and Information Service to transfer to a Town Council as part of Cornwall Council’s devolution programme, which is helping councils and communities take over local ownership, management and control of services.

  • Colour Your Cares Away every Thursday 11am–1pm.  Need to relax and de-stress, or just enjoy some quiet time? Colouring helps clear minds and remove ourselves from the day to day stresses of life, join us for some colouring for adults sessions. We provide colouring sheets, pencils and a peaceful atmosophere, your can drop in for 10 minutes or the whole session

  • Special events - we have a wide range of events taking place in libraries including author talks, drop-in events and much more. Find out if there are any special events taking place in a library near you.
  • Rhymetime - Tuesdays 11am-11:30am (term time only), free sessions of rhymes, stories and singing for children 0-4 years and their carers
  • Bookstart storytime - every Tuesday 2-2.30pm from 7 March.
  • Easter Hats – Tuesday 11 April 2.30-3.30pm  Come and create an Easter bonnet or hat. Suitable for ages 3 – 12.  Children must be accompanied. FREE
  • Our reference Maritime Collection has moved to the Bartlett Library at the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth
