  • There are a limited number of parking spaces (30 minute limit) close to the front door
  • There are no disabled spaces near to the library but local badge holders can park outside in the road
  • There is a side path to a rear disabled entrance
  • Lift to the first floor for the computer suite
  • Accessible toilets

All Cornwall libraries can provide information on living, working or studying in another European Union country.

  • Beginners Computer Lessons
    We run Beginners Computer Courses.  If you would like to attend just ask in your local library.
  • Bookstart Rhymetime
  • Every Monday at 2:00pm - our Rhymetime activities designed to encourage parents and carers to share rhymes, stories and songs with children upto 4yrs.
  • Cornwall Carers Service - Drop-in session
    On last Monday of every month.  Cornwall Carers Service here in library to answer questions and offer information about help and support available to carers.
  • Homework help sessions
    Anytime during opening hours
  • Readers' groups
    Three readers' groups meet in the Bodmin area, details available from the library.  If you are interested in any of the above groups, please contact a member of staff.   We have various reading groups that can be found throughout Cornwall.
  • Storytime
    Wednesdays 2:00pm- 2:30pm. Listen to stories followed by activities. Storytime sessions for under 5’s and their carers, free.
    Childminders’ Storytimes held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 10:00am.

Bodmin Library proper job offers support to job seekers, FREE computer access and information on library resources for online job related activities, as well as quick IT help for job seekers to apply for jobs online and support those looking for work.

Waste Management Containment

We have a small stock of recycling containers available from this One Stop Shop.  Seagull Proof Sacks now available at a cost of £3.50. Each sack will hold 3 refuse sacks
