Bodmin Library and Information Service is moving

Bodmin Library and Information Service will be moving to its new home in Cornwall Council’s Chy Trevail offices in February 2017.

The move to the new site will provide longer opening hours, better access for disabled customers and access to Chy Trevail’s café for those who want to enjoy coffee and cake as part of their visit to the library.

Work is already underway in Chy Trevail to accommodate the library in a light and spacious ground floor location. The information service will be available from the main reception desk in Chy Trevail.

As a result of the forthcoming move of Bodmin Library to Chy Trevail:

  • The Cornish Room, which holds the Bodmin Cornish Collection is now closed.

  • The Young Adult section has been reduced to a small collection.

  • The Foreign books and Reference section are closed.

  • The adult Non-Fiction section will be reduced to a small collection over the next couple of weeks.

Customers are reminded they can reserve items from other sites, for free, using our Online Reservation System.

Please ask a member of staff for assistance, if this is required.
