Cornwall - The Place

Cornwall, the perfect location...

But once you take your eyes away from the glistening waves, golden sands or rugged cliffs, you’ll see there’s more to Cornwall’s outdoor living. The heart of the county features wild moorlands as well as traditional rural countryside, ideal for exploring at leisure, as well as offering a wealth of cultural opportunities.

Add in the fact that parents can pick from a  number of high quality schools – all of the county’s comprehensives have been awarded specialist school status in at least one subject – the growth of higher education through Combined Universities Cornwall and the rich opportunities available for greener living, and it becomes clear why the county has seen over 30 years of high inward migration.

Investment in our improved transport network puts you in easy reach of key destinations in the UK and beyond – by road and rail, by air from Newquay Cornwall Airport and by sea.
