Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) pension benefits are guaranteed in statute by the government. This means that the performance of the Fund's investments will not affect the pension benefits a member would receive.
The Investments Team are responsible for all the investment and financial aspects of the Cornwall Pension Fund. Their main role is to:
- implement the Fund’s Investment Strategy; and
- monitor compliance with the Fund's Investment Strategy
This is set by the:
- Cornwall Pension Fund; and
- Pension Committee
The Fund's assets are managed externally by investment managers.
