A memory café is somewhere where people with dementia and their
carers can visit to support each other and share information. The
groups usually offer reminiscence-based activities. Health and
social care professionals are also on hand to answer questions and
offer advice in an informal setting. There is a list of the memory
cafes in Cornwall below.

Other groups for people with dementia and their carers
Adult Care, Health and Wellbeing has launched a
care directory for the people of Cornwall to access local
health and social care services.
The directory lists and provides information on a range of
services, including support at home, leisure activities, getting
around, health and wellbeing, work, learning and volunteering,
advice, information and money matters, staying safe, caring
for someone and housing and care homes. There is also a 'What's On'
section that lists local events and activities, such as support
groups, workshops, courses and more.
To find out what services are available in your local
area, go to the Cornwall Community
Directory and get searching!
