Delegates to the event were welcomed by Andrew Mitchell, Cornwall Council Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Homes. Ian Knight of Homes England set out the national picture and Lord Matthew Taylor gave a local perspective on delivering vibrant communities. This was followed by a workshop session and the day finished with an expert panel answering questions and giving their opinions on how we can deliver growth in Cornwall. The workshop was undertaken by all delegates and looked at shaping our housing growth delivery plans by discussing 2 local development schemes: West Carclaze, St Austell and Threemilestone, Truro.
