Our Family Hubs support the delivery of services for families, children and young people aged from pre-birth to 19 years old (or up to 25 years for anyone with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). We have 23 Family Hubs across Cornwall.
Family Hubs offer a friendly, informal atmosphere for families to be supported by professionals, meet with other families and access high-quality services.
Family Hubs are a great way to access programmes and services such as:
- Start for Life
- Child Health Clinics
- Dads Together activity and support
- Healthy Start
- Infant Feeding and Breastfeeding Support
- Parenting courses, advice and support
- The Family Information Service
- Child and family health services
- Antenatal, child development, Early Years and Early Help
- Social care
- Physical and mental health and wellbeing
- Services from voluntary and community organisations
- Information, advice and guidance
- Education, employment and training
All children have the right to access services and support. Each Family Hub follows the National Centre for Family Hubs' three key delivery principles of access, connection and relationships.

Pool Family Hub is located on the grounds of Treloweth Primary School, next to Happy Days Nursery. It has a garden at the back and generous parking.

Facilities
The Reception Area has seating and there are accessible toilet facilities for anyone with disabilities and for baby changing.
There is a large selection of toys for use throughout the building.
The Wheal Agar Room has capacity for 20 people. This room also has access to the garden. The Wheal Bassett Room has capacity for six people. The Carn Brea Room is a small meeting room with capacity for four people.
The Kitchen has an oven with hobs, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Guest wifi is available.
