Working Together
The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Safeguarding Children Partnership (SCP) is the key statutory mechanism for agreeing how relevant organisations will work together to promote, safeguard and protect the welfare of children and young people.
The partnership is made up of senior representatives from several organisations and agencies which include the Cornwall Council, the Council of the Isles of Scilly, Devon and Cornwall Police, Health Service, Youth Offending Service, Probation Service, Children and Family Courts Advisory and Support Service and others.
Working Together to Safeguard Children sets out how:
- organisations and individuals should work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
- how practitioners should conduct the assessment of children
