Statement of Community Involvement and Inspectors Report  Adopted March 2006
An Interim Strategic Policy Statement has been adopted and contains aspirational policies for Development Control purposes. They are based on policies developed and consulted on for the Local Development Framework, for which there was a broad level of support.   

A key requirement of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 is the production of an annual monitoring report which sets out progress in moving towards implementing policies. The latest Spatial Planning Annual Monitoring Report available is for 2007-08.

The Newquay Hotel Study - Executive Summary, Final Report, Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 remains a part of the evidence base for planning in Cornwall.
