All Cornwall Council planning records from 2011 onwards are available to view on our online planning register

We also have information from before 2011 available online (including former District Council records) but please note that the amount of information varies by area.

We would strongly advise that you have a look on the online planning register before submitting a Planning History Request, as you may be able to find the information you need.  If you are have trouble finding the information you are looking for then try searching without the postcode as some older planning records don't include them.

If you are looking for planning records from before 2011, a planning history request can be made using the Planning History Request Form. There is a charge of £35 per Planning History Request per site.

Mundic block – if the purpose of your enquiry is to ascertain whether a property may have been built using mundic block, please be aware that a planning history search will only provide the date of any planning approval.

Fees – a fee is payable for a Planning History Request irrespective of the amount of information revealed by the search.

No planning record – some developments are carried out under ‘permitted development’.  If this is the case, there will be no planning record.
