Seaton Valley Countryside Park
Formerly a derelict caravan park, Seaton Valley Countryside Park has been owned and managed by Caradon District Council then Cornwall Council since 1995. It covers 53.8 hectares in the bottom of a steep-sided wooded valley.
Habitats: Semi-ancient woodland, Ponds, Rough grassland, Wet grassland, River corridor.

The Local Nature Reserve is popular with visitors and is also home to wildlife such as otters, kingfishers, dormice and fritillary butterflies.
On 19th July 2005 the Park became Cornwall's first Green Flag Countryside Park and Local Nature Reserve after passing a tough inspection with flying colours. The prestigious Green Flag Award is similar to the Blue Flag Award for clean and well maintained beaches and recognises the best green spaces in the country.
