  • Part 1 suggests simple steps for informing change to all chapels based upon an understanding of their historic character and significance. It is for use by planning officers and applicants.
  • Part 2 provides illustrated guidance on the historic character and significance of chapels, and the present and future issues for chapel communities. It is aimed at the same audience, but it will also be of interest for those with an interest in the history and character of the county's landscape and historic buildings, and the character of individual places.

This document was endorsed by Cornwall Council in December 2012 as a material consideration for land use planning purposes.
