At our headquarters on the Threemilestone Industrial Estate, we maintain the largest collection of children’s books in Cornwall.  These books are carefully selected to support reading for pleasure and purpose for children aged 3 – 12 years and include factual books, poetry, board books, picturebooks, quick reads, novels, big books, dual language books and story cds.

You can then take the books away with you, shelf ready.

As an alternative to visiting our showroom, you can login to our bookseller's website, or we can order books on your behalf.

We will check your order and advise you if we think the books are not suitable e.g. written for an older audience. We will however still order these books, if requested to do so, but without the ELS servicing (see The Offer below). This means the books cannot be circulated back via the Exchange Service.

This service is not suitable for ordering reading schemes which we recommend should be ordered direct from the publishers.

All books ordered via our bookseller website will be delivered direct to your school.

Books are sold with a discount of up to 25% of the face value.  However there is a charge of 40p per volume for servicing – this includes a plastic jacket (for paperbacks), classification and notation (for non-fiction), date label and bar code for those schools who have computerised their library housekeeping.

This servicing ensures that once you have finished with the books they may be circulated back to ELS via the Exchange Service. Please note, if we order books on your behalf that are unsuitable for the Exchange Service then they will arrive unserviced.
